Justin Bieber Cancels Show Appearance, Accuses Promoter Of Breach Of Contract

Justin Bieber reportedly cancelled his slated performance at Montreal's Beachclub Party on Saturday, after he accused the promoter of the concert of breach of contract.

Just hours before the show, Bieber announced through Twitter that he backed out from the show.

He wrote, "Montreal due to the promoter of today's event breaking his contract and lying I will not be able to attend today's event. I'm sorry."

In another post, he wrote, "I look forward to coming back to Montreal in the future to do a proper show but I will not be able to attend 2day due to this breach. Thanks."

The 'Baby' hit maker was supposed to be paid half of his talent fee upon signing the contract and the balance will be paid to him two days before the show, TMZ reported.

Bieber reportedly received half of the payment but the promoters failed to pay the balance which is allegedly "a couple of hundred thousand dollars."

Team Productions promised to settle the remainder before the event, after the singer's team contacted them. However, there was no payment made.

A statement posted by the Beachclub on their Facebook page suggested that it was Team Productions' fault for Justin's failed appearance at the show.

The message reads, "We are incredibly disappointed and upset by the lack of professionalism exhibited by Team Productions (the event's promoter) in violating their contract with Justin Bieber and disappointing the thousands of fans that were going to flock to Beachclub today."

In the first statement they wrote on Facebook, the club wrote, "[Beachclub] and Justin Bieber are in no way liable for the cancellation of today's event."

Those who already purchased tickets for the event are reportedly entitled to a full refund, INQUISITR reported.
