A Look Inside NYC's First Cereal Bar, KITH Treats: 24 Varieties, 25 Toppings, 5 Types of Milk! [PHOTOS]

Many might not know who Ronnie Fieg is, but he's actually one of the biggest designers out there. He's worked on shoe (and some clothing) designs for Nike, Asics, and New Balance.

Ronnie Fieg even has a wide array of products he's designed, which can be found at his KITH stores all around New York City. His first retail shop, KITH Brooklyn, opened its doors in 2011.

It has recently undergone some renovation, thanks to the futuristic design of Snarkitecture. What's noteworthy about the overhaul, however, is its own breakfast cereal bar, found somewhere in the confines of the 3,000 square foot KITH Brooklyn.

The first ever cereal bar in New York City called KITH Treats, is a haven for any customer who can have their order customized. Kith offers 24 different cereal flavors, in addition to five specialty milks and 25 assorted toppings.

The choices are wide, and combinations can be overwhelming, which is why Kith offers a "Specials" menu that gives consumers a pre-concocted combination to choose from.

Ronnie Fieg explains the idea behind the cereal bar:

"When I was younger, I wasn't allowed to eat sugary cereals in my house. So I used to have to go to my friend's house to sneak it in. I was obsessed. When I would go to school, my father used to make me lunch and I would sell it for a dollar so that I could go buy cereal. I used to eat Frosted Flakes with chocolate milk everyday. [...] it was one of my earliest dreams, and I couldn't miss out on the opportunity to make this happen."

Not only that, but KITH Treats also has a selection of ice cream, coffee from La Colombe, and hot chocolate.

KITH Brooklyn is at 233 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NYC. The storefront is open from 11AM-8PM Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, the store is open from 12-7PM.
