Jenna Oswald Confirmed To Leave Doctor Who

The long time running show, Doctor Who, which was revived back in 2005 is again giving their fans a heart break. The show is losing another stellar artist, this time it's the Doctor's trusty side kick. Clara Oswald played by Jenna Coleman has just confirmed about leaving the show. The show's fore runner, Steven Moffat had already hinted in the past about Coleman's possible extermination from the show and now it has really happened.

On the opening of the ninth episode of the show, Oswald appeared to have been vaporized by a Dalek (the main protagonist of the show) while attempting to escape into the Doctor's TARDIS space (and time) ship. The episode ended with a cliffhanger, in which the Doctor went back in time to try and murder Davros, the inventor of the Dalek, with the intention of changing the course of history and bringing Clara back.

The speculations of her leaving the show started earlier this year, when Moffat that there were plans to write off Clara from the scripts twice. First was after the season finale of the eighth season, "Death in Heaven," and the second was after last year's Christmas special. Both times Oswald changed her mind.

Now fans are speculating on whether who will be the next trusted assistant of the most famous Doctor in the entire universe. There have been many character changes in the past when it comes to the Doctor Who series. Even the doctor himself, the star of the show has been changed numerous times. This is just how the storyline goes. The doctor's assistant is such a big role to play, that fans can only ask who will be stepping in and filling the shoes. Fans have been voicing out their preferred artists to play the assistant, they can only wait on the new announcement.
