McDonald's Rivals Fire Shots At New All-Day Breakfast Scheme

McDonald's highly publicized all-day breakfast menu finally launched today. Starting today, you can walk into any McDonald's branch in America and get an Egg McMuffin or plate of Hotcakes any time you want.

The move was certainly well-received by many of the fast-food giant's fans, but it looks like not everyone was impressed with the news. Many of the brand's rivals used the occasion to poke fun at the idea, claiming that McDonald's is already late to the party.

Pancake chain IHOP was more direct, calling out McDonald's with a series of tweets and hashtags.

One of the biggest omissions from Mcdonald's breakfast menu are their signature Hash Browns. The item is only available in select markets, and IHOP made sure to let everyone know with this tweet:

 Regardless of your opinon on the whole thing, you can't deny that it's been a boon for the whole industry.
