Timbaland Divorce: Hip Hop Producer Responds To Divorce Filing

Timbaland was reportedly given 30 days by a judge to respond to the divorce filings or another default judgment will be awarded to his wife if he failed to respond.

Earlier this month the judge ruled to give Timbaland 30 days to respond to the divorce filings after his wife, Monique Mosley requested to have a default judgment in favor of her in September, actually a judge granted it to her, contactmusic reported.

However, the music artist filed a request and the judgment was subsequently vacated earlier this month. Now, he has 30 days to respond to the filings.

The divorce battle between the estranged couple started after Mosley filed for divorce for the second time around earlier this year in Florida. The Hip-hop Producer and his ex- wife, who tied the knot in June 2008, hit a rough patch back in October 2013, when she first filed for legal documents to dissolve their marriage. She then asked a judge to force Timbaland to make payments for alimony, spousal support and money for  their daughter's continued education.

To confirm their divorce, Mosley retweeted one of the fans tweet.

"With @Timbaland trending please stay out of is business & respect him and his awesome wife @Monique_Mosley_ none ya," the message reads. It was attached to an image that reads, "Don't judge anyone based on what you heard."

The 44 year old Timbaland and 41 year old Mosley have a daughter named Reign, 6 year old. Mosley also has a daughter from previous relationship, who is currently 12 years old.

Meanwhile, Timbaland scored high after him and Jay Z triumphed in a long running lawsuit over his 1999 hit song 'Big Pimpin.' U.S. District Judge Christina A. Snyder dismissed copyright infringement case brought by Osama Fahmy, who claimed that 'Big Pimpin' violated the late Egyptian composer, Baligh Hamdi's "moral rights," as per Hollywood Reporter.
