Leonard Nimoy To Be On The New Episode Of 'The Big Bang Theory' and a Quick Recap Of Amy's Mystery Man

The episode 6 of The Big Bang Theory started with Sheldon (played by Jim Parsons) and Leonard (played by Johnny Galecki) found out that their research about the superfluid vortex was being stolen by a group of scientists from Sweden.

But perhaps the most interesting part of this episode was Amy's (played by Mayim Bialik) possible new love life when Penny (played by Kelley Cuoco) and Bernadette (played by Melissa Rauch) tried to play cupid, as they signed her up on a dating app that is kind of like Tinder.

Fox News said that this idea came to the girls when they learned about Stuart's success on getting a girl on the said dating app. While the boys are busy with their nerd-stuff, the girls are focused on giving Amy a new man in her life.

And this is a major spoiler alert because as it turns out, Amy didn't really need a dating app to find a man. At the end of the show, she now has a new man named Dave (played by Stephen Merchant). Sheldon doesn't know about this yet, so there is no reaction whatsoever from him about the said news.

Moving forward on episode 7, fans would be able to see Startrek legend Leonard Nimoy as the show's guest star according to Entertainment Weekly. He will play as himself and the episode is entitled, "The Spock Resonance."

Over the years, Nimoy's character was discussed on show because the group of five nerds (especially Sheldon) in this story has always been a fan of the hit 90s sci-fi series Startrek. And this episode is definitely a dream come true for Sheldon. Hopefully, this would ease him up from the recent breakup he just had with Amy.

Catch the new and 7th episode of The Big Bang Theory on November 5, 8PM /ETon CBS
