Meet the Rest of 'The Hateful Eight' in This New Trailer for Quentin Tarantino's Film [VIDEOS]

Quentin Tarantino's controversial film, "The Hateful Eight" just released its second teaser - giving an in depth look of the other characters that make up the Hateful Eight.

In spite of ongoing controversy and beef, "The Hateful Eight" has been regarded "as possibly one of this year's bests." Complex reports:

"It's been a minute since we've seen the first trailer for the Christmas-due film, and we know it takes place in a post-Civil War backdrop with racial tensions still brewing. The trailer probably hides much of the Tarantino brand of crazy we'll see in the actual movie, but this new trailer introduces us to the titular hateful eight characters, with a cast that includes Tarantino faves like Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russell (and Jennifer Jason Leigh!)."

Here's the hateful eight you need to know:

The Bounty Hunter: Major Marquis Warren played by Samuel L. Jackson

The Hangman: John Ruth played by Kurt Russell

The Prisoner: Daisy Domergue played by Jennifer Jason Leigh

The Sheriff: Chris Mannix played by Walton Goggins

The Mexican: Bob played by Demian Bichir

The Little Man: Oswaldo Mobray played by Tim Roth

The Cow Puncher: Joe Gage played by Michael Madsen

The Confederate: General Sanford "Sandy" Smithers played by Bruce Dern

Directed and written by Quentin Tarantino, "The Hateful Eight" has amassed massive controversy, with a New York police union calling for cops and fellow New Yorkers to boycott the film after Tarantino participated at an anti-police brutality rally a few weeks ago.

Earlier this week, Quentin Tarantino broke his silence and addressed his ongoing beef with New York police officers that led to the boycott calls on "The Hateful Eight." Read more about it here.

You can also expect to see Channing Tatum, Craig Stark, James Parks, Zoe Bell, Dana Gourrier, Gene Jones, Keith Jefferson, Lee Horsley and Belinda Owino in "The Hateful Eight."

"The Hateful Eight" is slated for a limited release on Christmas Day, December 25. Wide distribution is set for January 8.
