WATCH: New 'London Has Fallen' Trailer is Insane; Top Leaders Killed [Spoilers, Cast, Rumors & More!]

The first full trailer for "London Has Fallen" is out. A follow-up to the film "Olympus Has Fallen," the trailer previews a possibly mind-shattering film in 2016.

The "London Has Fallen" trailer begins with Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) spending some quality time jogging with President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart). After that is the beginning of the real mindf**k.

Track-suited terrorists are then shown firing rocket launchers into a building full of word leaders at the British prime minister's funeral, instantly killing five world leaders. After is what The A.V. Club described as "other deathly serious-yet-utterly ridiculous things."

London landmarks start exploding and shattering viewers' eardrums, police cars flip, terrorists spread fear, Morgan Freeman speaks seriously in between, Angela Bassett tears up and fighter jets roar by. Five countries must now look for their leader's successors while the "American president is unaccounted for."

The villain in the movie, a sinister terrorist, wants to kill all of world's leaders, including the U.S. president, vowing, "We're going to kill him slowly and broadcast it live."

Deadline calls the films a "Die Hard" meets "Air Force One."

It remains unclear why there's an "Olympus Has Fallen" sequel. According to Cinema Blend, "Olympus Has Fallen" had been a hit, but not a "runaway smash". In addition, it has continually been delayed since nobody wanted to direct the thing to begin with.

It appears that the reason they decided to make "London Has Fallen" and create a "Fallen" franchise is that the first film made a lot of cash, Cinema Blend reports.

According to Box Office Mojo, "Olympus" earned a Domestic Total Gross of $98,925,640, so that's definitely a good reason to make a second movie.

"London Has Fallen" hits theaters March 4, 2016. It stars Aaron Eckhart as the U.S. President Benjamin Asher, Gerard Butler as Secret Service chief Mike Banning and Morgan Freeman as Speaker of the House. Other cast include Angela Bassett, Melissa Leo, Radha Mitchell, and newcomer Charlotte Riley, an English MI-6 agent. The Millennium Films movie will be directed by Babak Najafi.
