Adele Talks About Her Tattoo Tribute to Son Angelo And Why She Turned Down Big Endorsement Offers

The artist who is responsible for the 'Set Fire To The Rain' hit song - Adele, took time out to raise her young son Angelo before coming back in the musical spotlight.

Adele, whose debut album - 19, was certified four times as platinum in the UK, and double platinum in the United States, has shared that she desires to keep her experiences while raising her three year old son Angelo private and out of the her songs.

The singer who received the Best New Artist award, will have her forthcoming album - '25' released on November 17. She stated to New York Times, that she does not like her three year old son's life to become a fodder for her music.

The  British singer and songwriter said, "My son Angelo is the love of my life and the light of my life, but my son is no one else's apart from me and his dad. So no one else can really relate to that. Also, not all my fans are parents, so they wouldn't want to hear from that."

As the award winning Adele was about to fire up her first release after four years, the 27 year old singer and songwriter spent her break, apart from penning the theme song for the movie Skyfall, doing what any new mother does - going to parks, museums and shopping centers with her toddler.

Adele says of her son Angelo, "he's my paradise" - the musician who graduated from BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, has the word tattooed on the side of her left hand and Angelo's name on her right to indicate his meaning to her.

Adele says she deliberately turned down endorsement deals, "Commercials, being the face of brands, hair products, bags, nail varnishes, beauty ranges, fashion lines,  shoes, being the face of a car, being in movies, designing watches, food ranges, buildings, airlines, book deals. I've been offered everything. And I don't want to water myself down. I want to do one thing. I want to make something. I don't want to be the face of anything."
