Ben & Jerry’s Vegan Ice Cream Coming In 2016, Dairy-Free Options Made Out Of Almond Milk!

Just in case you were having some massive ice cream cravings and everything on the other side of the glass at your closest Ben & Jerry's seemed delicious but unattainable because of their use of animal products, don't fret, in just a few months time you'll be able to enjoy Ben & Jerry's vegan options!

A few months after first announcing the upcoming Ben & Jerry's vegan line, the ice cream makers have recently stated that their dairy-free new products, which will come at some point of 2016, will be using almond milk instead of the cow's version, for complete guilt-free enjoyment for those following a vegan diet - that means you too, Beyoncé!

According to Pop Sugar, the company has just confirmed their use of almond milk for Ben & Jerry's vegan line and, while it's still unclear which flavors will be coming out next year (they're still in the testing period), but almond milk has become increasingly popular for vegans as well as dieters all over the world, so the decision was definitely met with excitement.

"Why is it taking so long, you wonder?" the company asked ice cream lovers in their statement about the upcoming Ben & Jerry's vegan flavors. "Simply because we want our ice cream to be the best ever, and when you're doing something new, that means a lot of, ahem, testing."

As more and more people have turned to a vegan diet due to the immense benefits science has shown of it (besides a willingness to be more humane towards animals), many companies have stepped up to create products for those who consume no animal products, including Guinness' recent announcement as well as this new Ben & Jerry's vegan ice cream line.

As The Huffington Post reports, the company stepped towards those who don't eat animal products after a Change.org petition on the lack of Ben & Jerry vegan options collected almost 30,000 signatures.
