NCIS Actress Pauley Perrette's Homeless Attacker Has Been Charged

The accused attacker of the American actress who is famous for portraying Abby Sciuto on the American drama series NCIS, Pauley Perrette has been charged.

Some media outlets have obtained the criminal complaint against the homeless man - David Merck, who allegedly attacked Pauley Perrette last week. The Los Angeles district attorney charged the homeless man with one count of criminal threat and one count false imprisonment by violence, and both charges were felonies.

The district attorney stated that if David Merck  is found guilty on both charges, David Merck will serve in state prison a maximum of four years.

The 45-year-old David Merck was arrested by the police last week on a felony assault, and behind bars with a bail amount of $60,000.

Pauley Perrette, who is also a civil rights advocate, published writer and a singer, posted a tweet about the incident early Friday morning, recapitulating the terrifying incident from the beginning until the end. Pauley Perrette stated that she was "jumped by a VERY psychotic homeless man (David Merck)," who the actress said "grabbed me so forcefully, pinned my arm, punched me in the nose, forehead repeatedly telling me he was going to kill me."

Pauley Perrette said that David Merck continued to beat her until the time he let her go. Then Pauley Perrette called a neighbor and a police friend for help, then the actress gave a description of her attacker. Fortunately the police were able to find David Merck and arrested him for felony assault.

Instead of just posting on social media about the attack, in hopes of tracking down David Merck, the actress also used her terrifying experience to enlighten the lack of treatment for those individuals with mental health issues and minimal housing for the homeless.

The NCIS actress posted, "My life changed tonight. My...I don't know." "We need full mental health care. We need housing and help for the homeless. We need to support our cops. We need to not walk alone. I need to heal."

And Pauley Perrette ended her post writing, "I almost died tonight."
