Dirt Cheap Android Phone for Sale in Walmart

Walmart is offering a dirt cheap Android. At just $9.82, this TracFone that was developed in partnership with LG is one solid option if you are looking for a temporary replacement phone, backup, or a new toy just for kicks.

Of course, it would be unrealistic to expect the absolute best performance from a barely $10 phone. It does, however, perform quite remarkably considering some meals would cost more than this technology, Android Community reporter.

The Next Web noted that the Lucky LG16 runs on Android Kitkat 4.4, a couple of versions lower than the current Marshmallow and would likely not be upgradable. It features a simple 3.8 inch touchscreen display, 3 megapixel camera, and Bluetooth function.

It can handle Wi-Fi and 3G but not LTE connection. It also sports a 4GB microSD that is even expandable. It uses a 1.2GHz dual-core processor too. It also has a proximity sensor and MP3 player to boot. So far, this budget phone really can do smartphone things as Geek has pointed out.

At the moment, the Lucky LG16 is sold out. But it used to be sold for $60 on Best Buy so Walmart's offer was solid all things considered. Again, a smartphone for just $10! It is worth noting that this smartphone has better specs than the first iPhone. Of course, this is to be expected, but it simply amazing how cheap this technology has already become.

If you are in the mood for budget phones, you might have to look a bit harder to score the Lucky LG16. That is not to say you cannot get a cool Android for ten bucks. The Alcatel Pixi GLITZ goes for the same price as Walmart's Lucky LG16.
