Drinking Too Much Alcohol can Lead to Irresponsible Attitude and Other Health Ailments

Does a sip of wine make you feel crazy? Science explains why drinking alcohol make your action unexplainable.  A group of researchers discovered gene mutation that can be associated with irresponsible attitude of one when drunk.

Dr Tikkanen from University of Helsinki and one of the researchers who conducted the study stated, "The results indicate that persons with this mutation are more impulsive by nature even when sober, and they are more likely to struggle with self-control or mood disorders." The researchers found that one of the times where a person struggle the most to get hold of himself is when too much alcohol was consumed.

The study was tested to 50 participants. After drinking alcohol they were asked to drive six miles. Researchers found how the participants' movements were affected by the taken substance. The worked asked to performed was said to be easy but participants found it challenging due to the effects of the alcohol. It was also found that save driving is more needed when the driver is not in his full senses.

Previous studies also recorded that an alcoholic beverage does not only affect one's brain resulting to mood changes, but also other body parts such as the heart, liver and pancreas. Too much drinking can cause heart illnesses such as high blood pressure, stroke or heart burn.

It may also result to irregular heart beat by 17 percent. Dr. David Sack, M.D. and CEO of addiction-treatment company Elements Behavioral Health stated, "At lower doses, alcohol irritates your stomach, increases acidity, and relaxes the muscle at the end of your esophagus, causing heartburn." Livers are also damaged when drinking habit is not controlled. It can lead to Fibrosis, Cirrhosis or fatty liver. For those who are trying to lose weight and tone their muscles, drinking too much may also impede the muscles' growth according to Men's health.  Pancreas can also be filled with toxic particles and blood vessels inflammation once alcohol addiction would be difficult to stop.
