Han Solo And Chewbacca Make Up After Cheating Feud, Harrison Ford Saves Wookie Pal From Suicide On Kimmel – Thanks To Adele [VIDEO]

As the release date for "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" approaches, the film's stars have been increasingly all over the web both in character and out, as the first film of the franchise in nearly a decade is about to hit theaters, bringing Han Solo and Chewbacca together again.

The last time Han Solo and Chewbacca were in a film together was back in 1983, when the two characters were part of "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi," and an ongoing joke on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" has made it clear the two haven't been on the best terms - until now.

According to Rolling Stone Magazine, Kimmel dedicated an entire new episode to the upcoming "Star Wars" sequel that brings back the likes of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill to George Lucas' galaxy far, far away, and as he dedicated his show to the stars, he was also behind two of the main characters, Han Solo and Chewbacca, finally burying the hatchet after decades of feuding.

Entertainment Weekly reports that ahead of Han Solo and Chewbacca's reconciliation, Kimmel began last Monday's show speaking about their feud, only to be interrupted by commotion outside as the Wookie stood in the building preparing to jump and kill himself over his ongoing feud with his former pal.

Ford, not really in character as Solo but looking very angry at seeing his former friend again, initially told Chewie to jump, but Kimmel told him to remember the good times Han Solo and Chewbacca shared, which got the actor thinking - all with Adele's "Hello" in the background.

According to The Huffington Post, what ensued was "mad bro love," as the two stars of the original trilogy hugged it out at last.
