Corey Taylor of 'Slipknot' Sings Radiohead's 'Creep' With Japanese Band SIM

On Saturday, November 21, the American musician and actor - famous as the lead singer and lyricist of the heavy metal band Slipknot and the alternative metal band Stone Sour - Corey Taylor, joined the Japanese alternative metal band Silence iz Mine (also known as SIM) on stage at the Ozzfest Japan at Makuhari Messe Arena - to perform a cover version of Radiohead's song "Creep".

Following the performance, the vocalist of Silence iz Mine band - Mah, stated in an online posting that the collaboration with Slipknot's Corey Taylor was the happiest moment of his life.

Lead singer Corey Taylor in a 2012 interview, talked about his appreciation for the other genres of music, "I had a kid ask me the other night, 'What kind of music is your guilty pleasure?' I said I don't have any. I don't feel guilty about the music I love. If you feel guilty about something you dig, then you should stop feeling guilty about it. One of my favorite albums to this day is the tenth anniversary ensemble cast of 'Les Miserables', the ultimate cast recording, and it is still something I love listening from top to bottom."

Corey Taylor performed at Ozzfest Japan as a solo acoustic act. Other acts featured at the Ozzfest festival - included the legendary Ozzy Osbourne and Friends, Korn (nu metal band), the American rock band - Evanescence, Bullet for My Valentine (a Welsh heavy metal band), the American rock band Jane's Addiction, the American metalcore band - Hatebreed, BabyMetal, Black Label Society and the American rock band - A Day to Remember.

On July 7, singer Corey Taylor published his third book, entitled - "You're Making Me Hate You: A Cantankerous Look At The Common Misconception That Humans Have Any Common Sense Left."

The book of Corey Taylor acts as a commentary on society and pop culture and it is said to be in the style of the late American stand-up comedian, social critic and author - George Carlin.
