'Girl Meets World' Gets Renewed For Season 3- Show Focuses On High School (Spoilers)

The hit Disney series 'Girl Meets World' is getting a lot of great feedback from fans ever since season 1. It is about to wrap up it's second season and for those who are asking if it will return for season 3, then the answer is yes.

IB Times reported that 'Girl Meets World' just recently got an approval from the network to renew their contract and do another season after this second one. Fans can expect season 2 to wrap up on February of next year.

Puberty is about to take place for the characters, hence, a little drama is expected and more girl characters would also be involved. Season 3 will be all about high school, which is more fun and intriguing, not to mention challenging especially for those who are not so popular in class.

It is a spinoff of another hit show back in the 90s called 'Boy Meets World' and so far, the showrunners are doing a great job in extending that legacy to this new version. The executive producer, Michael Jacobs has been getting a lot of praises from the network.

In an interview with The Wrap, Disney's EVP for Programming, Adam Bonnet, shared, "He (Jacobs) and the entire 'Girl Meets World' team will not only continue to entertain families but also help kids discover who they are and who they want to be in this world." That alone confirms the extension of the contract of the show.

As for the cast, fans will still see Riley (played by Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (played by Sabrina Carpenter) as they venture into high school. It is going to be a little shaky for the two because of the adjustment period they have to face with their new atmosphere.
