Hillary Clinton Drawing on the Star Power of Bill Clinton to Raise Campaign Funds

The Democratic presidential candidate of the United States - Hillary Clinton,  draws on the star power of her spouse, the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001- Bill Clinton, to help raise funds for the 2016 White House campaign of Hillary Clinton. And the former president Bill has started on a fundraising blitz, reminiscent of his own presidential campaigns.

Reportedly, in December, the former president will make appearances in more than a dozen of Hillary Clinton's events, as Hillary's team seeks to tap into Bill Clinton's fame as one of the Democratic party's most productive rainmakers.

Early on in Hillary Clinton's second presidential bid, the former First Lady had been careful not to overemphasize Bill Clinton's involvement in the campaign, but Bill Clinton (who has previously served as Governor of Arkansas in the year 1979 to 1981 and 1983 to 1992) has now slowly started taking a relatively great extent of public role.

It has been said that last month, Bill Clinton introduced the American singer, songwriter, and actress Katy Perry at a concert before the Iowa Democratic Party's Jefferson-Jackson dinner, and last week, the former president also accompanied Hillary Clinton to a barbecue party in the critical early-caucus state of Iowa.

Together, Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton have cultivated a very great extent of donor network over the couple's 40 years in public life, and the Clintons' particular form of fundraising today, serve as a model for many other politicians and their supporters.

The co-founder of Esprit and a close friend of Hillary and Bill Clinton - Susie Tompkins Buell, stated, "The former First Lady Clinton do not like to ask for money. It's not natural for her. But, Hillary Clinton got really good people who work for her who speak for her, and Hillary Clinton is very, very appreciative when she knows someone has done something for her. And you know it's sincere."
