Shopping at Costco isn't complete without a trip to their food court. For most of its members, the food is a welcome respite after long hours of shopping but what is exactly the deal of the popular warehouse's prepared food?

According to the news site, Price Club has opened the gates of bulk buying at very low costs. Price Club is one of the first who started charging their members with an annual fee so they can benefit from the low costs. It was founded by a guy named Sol Price and in 1993, it merged with Costco. Currently, Costco has expanded outside the United States and has locations in Canada, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Australia and the United Kingdom.

It seems all Costco locations appear similarly however not all of them have food courts. The locations which have one, their menu are basically the same: chicken Caesar salad, hot dog or Polish sausage, pizza and sundaes. These you can all enjoy at a very low price. So next time you go shopping, it's good to have these little facts on your mind:

Costco is one of America's largest pizza chains with around 400 locations in the United States alone making it the 15th largest pizza chain in the United States. It has more locations compared to California Pizza Kitchen, Fox's Pizza Dena and Jet's Pizza.

Additionally, the price rarely if not never, changes. The pizza has always cost $1.99 per slice, the pie at $9.99, chicken bakes at $2.99 and the hot dog combo at $1.50.

And you're in luck if the food court is located outside, you can avail these great meals without being a member. Food court located inside Costco is generally for members only.

Though this may lessen your appetite, according to the company the pizza and chicken bake are most unhealthy with a slice of cheese at 700 calories and 28 grams of fat. The chicken bake contains 770 calories and 25 grams of fat.

While the menu is pretty much the same, there's one spot open for rotating items such as turkey wrap, carne asada bake, hot turkey and provolone, and barbecue beef brisket sandwich.
