Sinead O’Connor’s Facebook Suicide Note Taken Down At Family’s Request, How Is Irish Songstress Doing After Attempt?

Last weekend, one of the most iconic singers in Ireland gave the world a scare after posting a message on Sinead O'Connor's Facebook wall, as the "Nothing Compares U 2" singer said she'd overdosed on pills because it was the only way to be taken seriously - and now, days later, her family has reportedly asked the social network to close down Sinead's wall.

Less than a week after Sinead O'Connor's Facebook suicide note gave notice to authorities to find her and save her from her suicidal thoughts, the 48 year-old Irishwoman (who has a birthday coming up next year, in the middle of this personal crisis) is now officially off the social network after growing concerns from those nearest her.

According to People Magazine, following Sinead O'Connor's Facebook note last Sunday and her subsequent hospitalization, the singer has continued to post on her wall, and her messages have continued to show the star's sorrow, as she's still on the mend following her suicide attempt.

In recent Sinead O'Connor Facebook posts, the singer revealed that her two oldest children, 28 year-old Jake and 19 year-old Roisin, visited her while she was unconscious, on "life support," but left before she awoke, which has left her in a state of "agony" because they haven't been back - on the same post, she asked them to come back to see her.

"To hear that you were here and left was agony," reads the disturbing Sinead O'Connor Facebook post, via Chronicle. "Now I am utterly alone. Please. Please love me. Please come to the hospital and spend time with me and help Fix all this. Please. I'm. Begging you."

Irish Mirror reports that among the many messages she posted on her wall over the past few days, one in particular resonated the most, as she made it clear that she'd try to take her own life again, then using the hashtag #iWantMyRightToDieAndIWillClaimIt.

It's unclear how exactly she's doing now that Sinead O'Connor's Facebook has been shut down, but hopefully she's getting the help she needs in these hard times.
