Sony Announces PlayStation VR Release Date

Sony has just announced that it will be releasing new PlayStation VR games this coming 2016. The new series of games are all fantastic and good looking.

During the PlayStation Experience (PSX) event in San Francisco, Sony revealed some important facts about its latest handset called the PlayStation VR. In the said event, the Japanese multinational company announced that they will be launching new set of games soon for their virtual reality device.

Officially, there are eight highlighted PS VR games that were announced. These games include Golem, Job Simulator, 100 Ft. Robot Golf, The Modern Zombie Taxi Co., Eagle Flight, Rez Infinitive, Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin, and Ace Combat 7.

All of the games still don't have its official release dates but most of the gameing enthusiasts believe that it will be release early in 2016.

As what most of the game critics said, the new set of games were amazing and astounding. Even though some of the games presented only contain "VR modes", the gameplay and game quality still look magnificent.

Overall, there are about a dozen of game titles that were presented in PlayStation Experience event. Most of the video games were established by well known game developers like Sony, Harmonix and Capcom.

Although most of the participants in the event were amazed by the upcoming titles, there were also show-goers who were not impressed with the idea of virtual reality.

A certain attendee named P.J, expressed his skepticism about the gaming handset.

"I don't see myself playing through [games like] Batman or Uncharted in VR," said by the participant.

Others said that they will still be waiting for the ultimate killer app while others stated that the video games released were all basic in terms of gameplay.
