MadTV One Night Only: MadTV Makes Return for 20th Anniversary

"MADtv" is making a one-night only comeback, except that it won't be hosted by its previous home channel, Fox.

The show is definitely pulling out all the stops, too, they're bringing in a lot of beloved guests that will surely have you bursting with laughter all night long. E! News reports:

"In honor of the late-night sketch comedy series' 20th anniversary, the CW of all places has announced plans for the 'MADtv 20th Anniversary Reunion.' The one-hour retrospective will not only be chock full of beloved sketched and characters from the show's 14-year run, but also include new material from 19 of your favorite alumni. In the special, the cast reunites for a glamorous award ceremony to honor the series, but true to 'MADtv' form, things don't go exactly to plan."

Just in case you're wondering as to who will exactly be returning, brace yourselves:

Ike Barinholtz, Alex Borstein, Mo Collins, Crista Falanagan, Anjelah Johnson, Nicole Randall Johnson, Keegan-Michael Key, Phil LaMarr, Artie Lange, and Bobby Lee.

It doesn't stop there though, Michael McDonald, Arden Myrin, Nicole Parker, Eric Price, Will Sasso, Aries Spears, Nicole Sullivan, Stephnie Weir, and Debra Wilson are also reportedly part of the reunion.

What's probably interesting about the lineup is the notable absence of Jordan Peele. Cause surely without him, there wouldn't be any "Key and Peele."

Unfortunately, no reports have yet to address that issue. Maybe there won't be a "Key and Peele" segment in the celebration.

On the bright side of things, CW is also offering a viewing of the 75 funniest "MADtv" episodes as part of the 20th anniversary celebration on their digital network, CW Seed. Fans can start watching the old episodes on January 5, 2016.

The "MADtv 20th Anniversary Reunion" special will air on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 8PM on the CW.
