Get Free Frostys At Wendys For A Year. Here's How.

Wendy's just won everyone this holiday season by giving away free Frosty Milkshake for the entire year. Spend a dollar for a keychain and your Frosty will be free next year.

Wendy's just announced that it will offer its customers one free Frosty milkshake in a day for the whole year when you buy the $1 Frosty-shaped key tag reports People. All you need to do is visit your local Wendy's before December 31 and purchase the $1 key tag. Then you'll get a free Jr. Frosty until December 31, 2016.

This is not the most important part, however. The company will be giving 90 cents from every key tag purchased to Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. This is a national nonprofit organization established in 1992 by Wendy's founder, Dave Thomas, who was also adopted. The foundation is dedicated to finding permanent homes to hundreds to thousands of children waiting in North America's foster care system. For this small amount, you will be helping these kids find a home soon.

The Jr. Frosty is not entirely free however, according to Bustle. Of course, with a minimum order of at least $1, you will be getting a free Jr. Frosty. Basically, you have to order something to get this free item. Of course, this is rather small when you think about all the children that you'd be helping.

Wendy's National Frosty Key Tag Program was launched on December 1 coincidentally landing on "Giving Tuesday". In a press release, Wendy's vice president of Brand Marketing Liz Geraghty said:

"We hope consumers will embrace Giving Tuesday and the holiday season as a time to make a difference in the lives children waiting in foster care. It's unacceptable that 130,000 children in North America won't have permanent, loving families to spend the holidays with, and we are passionately working to change this reality so that all children can have the childhood they deserve."

So this holiday season, don't forget to help others. By doing so, you even get a free Jr. Frosty for helping out.
