Chris Kresser Gives Advice On Healthy Eating

Listen to Chris Kresser if you want advice on diet and food. According to Kresser, one of the keys to long life is food. As he said, according to an article in The Entrepreneur:

"Diet is one of the most important things we can think about when we have those goals. What we put into our bodies is what determines our health."

Chris said Americans are getting enough to eat, but not enough nutrition. Chris said:

"There's no shortage of calories available. We can walk down to the 7-Eleven and get a Super Gulp and candy bars and all that, and we'll get plenty to eat. We're not going to starve. But we are starving in the important way."

Chris' tip for real nutrition comes in when he advises Americans to eat real food. The food expert said all the nutrition should be balanced out so one can eat healthy. He said:

"What we need to do is make sure everything we put into our mouths has the maximum amount of nutrients, and the minimum amount of junk."

He further gave an additional tip as to what makes food nutritious:

'Oh, we should do low-fat, we should do low-carb, or high-protein.' And that stuff is relevant. What's more important is just making sure the food you eat is just super-nutrient-dense. That's going to fill you up, it's going to make all your physical processes work right, and it's going to prevent you from having disease."

Chris gives advice on the food that are nutrient dense and those that are not. He referred to crappy vegetable oils as "sunflower, safflower, canola, soybean, and corn oil. " He advised to replace these vegetable oils with olive oil, coconut oil, ghee, or even butter.

Look good and feel good by eating nutrient dense food!
