Valentine's Day 2016: Treat Your Partner to Starbucks' Romantic Chocolate Drinks

Starbucks added three new drinks, dubbed as Valentine's Day special, to its menu on Monday. These include three molten chocolate beverages named Molten Chocolate Frappuccino, Molten Chocolate Latte and Molten Hot Chocolate. These beverages will be available at the stores till Feb. 14 - the Valentine's Day.

If you don't wish to present your Valentine the traditional chocolate box this year, you may certainly try the chocolate-inspired beverages introduced by Starbucks in its stores, especially for the Valentine's Day. Since these beverages are not a part of any Valentine's Day secret menu, chocolate aficionados everywhere in the United States can take delight in these at any of the participating stores, Starbucks proudly announced.

Below is a brief account of what chocolate-lovers can expect from the new beverages introduced by Starbucks for the week from Feb. 8 to Feb. 14.

Molten Chocolate Frappuccino Blended Beverage: This new beverage contains coffee with chocolatey chips and rich mocha sauce blended with milk and ice. The finishing is done with an exceptional mocha and whipped cream along with an espresso mocha drizzle.

Molten Chocolate Latte: This unique beverage is made by melting chocolatey chips into espresso and subsequently topped with steamed milk blended with bittersweet mocha sauce. The finishing is done with special mocha and espresso-infused whipped cream along with an espresso mocha drizzle. This chocolate is available in two verities - hot and iced.

Molten Hot Chocolate: As the name suggests, this chocolate beverage is served hot. It is prepared by melting chocolatey chips and bittersweet mocha sauce along with steamed milk to offer a smooth and creamy flavor. The topping is done with a special mocha and cream infused in an espresso along with espresso mocha drizzle.

A review of the three new chocolate drinks by Yahoo says that although the New York City Starbucks located at the corner of 43rd Street and 8th Avenue displayed the new menu proudly, very few New Yorker and Times Square tourists seemed to be interested in them. Most of them ordered the usual drip coffees, Venti-mocha lattes and green teas. Perhaps, none of them were romantic enough!

In addition, the Molten Chocolate Latte and Molten Hot Chocolate seemed to be very identical, Molten Chocolate Frappuccino Blended Beverage was somewhat different, the report claimed.
