Morrisons Pairs With Online Shopping Platform Amazon

Morrisons have signed a new agreement with the online shopping platform Amazon.

Amazon has started its research to find out how the UK customers are dealing with home delivery when it comes to buying their grocery and home needs. The online platform Amazon will now hold fresh and frozen products for its UK customers. Amazon is now taking up grocery market to the next level in the UK. The tie-up between the UK based Morrisons and the American giant Amazon is the start of something new to every UK based Morrison customer.

Though Amazon focused on selling packaged food all this while, with such a tie-up with supermarkets, they are beginning to focus on fresh food items as well.

The service will start sometime soon this year. They will supply fresh, frozen and non-perishable goods to all Amazon Pantry and Amazon Prime customers, who are paying a £79 annual subscription fee.

Morrisons have been making most of the goods, and services and now have the capacity to sell their products through the online platform Amazon. The Morrisons services will boost amazon sales as their agenda is to deliver their products in less than an hour at specific places.

In this tie-up, it will be a case where both the sides get a great benefit from each other's services.  With this tie-up, the shares for Morrison's have raised and amazon has become a bigger platform making an impression in the UK as well.

Morrisons also extend their market to the delivery service Ocado, thus extending their services to many more locations. With the online intervention, the fourth biggest supermarket in the UK is ready to get bigger.
