Renée Zellweger 2014 - The 45 year-old actress is well-known for several roles in the past. But since 2010, she hasn't had a new gig and it's strange not to see her for years after showing so much talent. Could this be the year for her comeback to the big screen?
Renée Zellweger has played roles in remarkable movies, starting with her big break in "Empire Records" (1995), "Jerry Maguire" (1996), "Bridget Jones Diary" (2001), and "Cold Mountain" (2003), among others.
But ever since 2010, after playing a main role in "My Own Love Song," she hasn't seen the spotlight in any way. Why? The reason is unknown, but it is probably related to the fact that her last movies weren't so marketed.
The last gigs she had at roles weren't too enticing, so maybe after that she decided to take a break from acting. She's coming back, though! No, not with Bridget Jones.
It has been said that a third release of Bridget Jones could come and the rumors have been spreading that Hugh Grant got out of the project, and he played a key character in the story about a humorous character, Bridget Jones, who dwells between two men.
The second movie, "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason," was released in 2004 and doing a third movie now could be a big comeback for Renée as this classic character that only her can charm up so remarkably.
But there are no sure facts about the movie truly being done and now that Hugh Grant has said no to it, it's a long shot.
The movie that she is coming back with for sure, though, is "The Whole Truth," which is in post-production at the moment and is about a defense attorney who gets his teenage client acquitted of murdering his wealthy father.
It includes Keanu Reeves, and from as CinemaBlend noted in March, Daniel Craig could appear as well.
"I still feel like I've crashed the party," she has said once and she will crash the party once again very soon.
