4-Course Meal Challenge In TikTok Is The Trending Valentine’s Day Treat

Love is in the air, and most people are preparing for the sweet nothings for their significant others. While flowers, chocolates, and expensive dinner reservations will most likely be what people will go for, a new trend is currently buzzing over the internet. The 4-Course Meal Challenge that recently went viral in TikTok is gaining massive attention and is now considered the next best Valentine's Day treat.

The 4-Course Meal TikTok Challenge

This challenge is simple and fun at the same time. Additionally, it can be done between friends, family members, or your significant others. Any celebration calls for the best food, and this TikTok challenge is the best way to do it.

According to Taste of Home, the 4-course meal challenge is compared to a mini-tournament that involves four different rounds of rock, paper, scissors between two or more individuals. The first round will be a battle of which drink to have, the second round is for the appetizer, the third round is for the main course, and the fourth round for dessert.

To win each round, the participants must play rock, paper, scissors. The winner gets to pick what to have. An example is when player 1 wins the first round, he or she gets to pick a drink that can be a tall caramel macchiato from Starbucks. In the second round, if player 2 wins, he or she gets to choose which appetizer to have. And so the game goes until the fourth and final round.

Becoming The Latest Trend In TikTok

The challenge started earlier this year and has gained over 15 million views in TikTok, according to PopSugar. One of the reasons why the 4-course meal challenge became a hit with TikTok users is because of its element of fun and adventure.

Instead of the conventional dinner reservation, friends, couples, and other parties are allowed to go on a mini-adventure while getting to taste good food. Moreover, this challenge allowed some exciting discoveries of new food combinations.

Some of the most entertaining entries include a couple that went around Downtown New York for the 4-course meal challenge. TikTok user @iamsavrose posted her food adventure in TikTok, which started with pressed juice. For the appetizer, they enjoyed Thai food, and the main course was Vietnamese food. Finally, for dessert, they had fresh fruit sago.

On the other hand, there are also participants who decided to put a little twist to the challenge. TikTok user @mariahh.21 and her friends decided to ditch playing rock, paper, and scissors and opted to have a digital picker wheel decide for them which food establishment to visit for each round.

Although the year has just started, a number of TikTok trends have already emerged and are still viral. All of these trends made TikTok the title of being one of the best-loved mobile apps globally. Despite a few controversies in the past years and instances of being banned in some countries, TikTok is still thriving more than ever. With over 680 million users around the globe, TikTok is currently valued at $50 billion.
