"Jar Jar Binks dinosaur" best describes the latest completed dinosaur discovery of scientists.
Scientists dug bones of what appeared to be powerful and large dinosaur arms about 50 years ago in Mongolia. They knew from then on that it was a fearsome creature with killer claws.
Now scientists have finally found the collection bones to complete the dinosaur and described it as "goofy" and weird. Its name is "Deinocheirus mirificus" which means "terrible hands that look peculiar".
"Jar Jar Binks" is the dinosaur's best resemblance with a fusion with TV's beloved dinosaur, Barney. Jar Jar Binks is a funny, clumsy fictional character from the movie saga, "Star Wars" created by George Lucas.
The "Jar Jar Binks dinosaur" weighed seven tons and was 16 feet tall and 36 feet long. It has a duckbill on its head and a hump-like sail on its back. It does not have any teeth but eats like a giant vacuum cleaner.
Yuong-Nam Lee, director of the Geological Museum in Daejeon, South Korea said in an email to ABC News that "Deinocheirus turned out to be one the weirdest dinosaurs beyond our imagination."
Scientists believed that this creature would "strike a terror" when they found it in 1965 with forearms about 8 feet long, stated Thomas Holtz, Jr., a dinosaur expert from University of Maryland who isn't part of the study.
Now the creature would strike "bemusement, amazement". Try to picture Jar Jar Binks and dinosaur, Barney together as one giant creature.
The discovery of the "Jar Jar Binks" dinosaur is a reminder that evolution isn't always what we think, according to another dinosaur expert, Paul Sereno from Univeristy of Chicago who isn't also part of the discovery.
"The starting point is a two-legged animal looking somewhat like a fuzzy-feathered ostrich. Now you want to get really big and suck up lots of soft vegetation. In the end you look like a goofy Michelin ostrich with fuzz and a tail - not a cow," Sereno added.
The "Jar Jar Binks dinosaur" might soon be kids' favorite - "kids with sense of humor" as Holtz said.
