Jim Carrey’s SNL Return: Funny Man Makes Fun Of Matthew McConaughey On Halloween Show! [VIDEO]

Jim Carrey's SNL skits include one of the show's all-time classics: the "Night at the Roxbury", with also featured then-cast members Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell, who later even made a movie based on the skit. Now, Jim Carrey's SNL return saw the comedy star goofing around with music sensation Iggy Azalea in a Halloween-themed show!

Last week, ongoing show Saturday Night Live saw the return of Jim Carrey, an SNL host legend after only two previous appearances - but appearances that included a classic like "Night at the Roxbury" and modern favorite "Black Swan," where the actor used his well-known comedy chops to recreate Natalie Portman's performance in the Darren Aronofsky film of the same name.

Jim Carrey's SNL fame has gone on for a while now - and after last Saturday, he can add a few new sketches to his history in the famous show! The top rated Jim Carrey SNL skit this time around had the "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" star playing Matthew McConaughey in the Lincoln commercials.

"Sometimes you've got to go back to actually move forward, and I don't mean go back and reminisce or chase ghosts," Jim Carrey's Matthew McConaughey says in the mock commercial, as reported by ABC News "I mean take a big step back like go from winning an Oscar to doing a car commercial."

As for the rest of the show, Jim Carrey's SNL appearance marked one for the ages, even in the midst of a slower season, which has seen fairly poor reviews since it first started recently.

The Halloween-themed bash had at least five sketches dedicated to the spookiest of holidays, including "Halloween Party" and, most interestingly, "Family Reunion," where SNL cast members took it to make fun of the Golden Globe winning actor, doing impressions of some of his most iconic roles.
