Celebrity Diet Update: Mel Skyes Reveals Her Secret To Super Bod

Mel Sykes has recently revealed what her secret is in maintaining her great shape and she admitted that when she was in her late thirties, that's the only time she exercised properly to get the bod she always wanted.

Skyes is one of the figures that has the most toned and envious bod all over Britain and she has talked about her exercise and diet secrets. Skyes is part of the "I'm A Celebrity" show and she has shared, "I decided I needed to get fit because I was approaching 40 and I thought I should really start thinking about my fitness and my heart and all that."

She did however insist that she was not unhappy with her body when she decided she had to exercise and noted that she was always happy with hot it was. However, she added that she just really thought of getting fitter because of her age.

She noted that her efforts served her well as it turned out great making her have an athletic-like physique. Due to this, the 44-year-old is now a fitness fanatic and it really shows in her body.

The mom of two then revealed these following tips:

First is, you should learn to love exercise. She noted that she trains for about thrice a week and she does a lot of cardio but she does not run. She goes on the bike instead for half an hour. She also said that she does weights whenever she trains.

Next is snacking up on nuts and seeds. She noted that she eats a lot of low GI foods such as nuts, seeds, and vegetables. She also avoids food with high sugar and alcohol so she does not add unwanted weight to her body. However, the star admits she does not always have to be strict to herself as once in a while she enjoys a glass of wine.

Another is mixing up your fitness regime as she noted she does not want to get bored. She added that she keeps it fresh and interesting and does activities such as playing tennis, swimming, and even clay pigeon shooting.

Lastly, get a dose of vitamins as they accelerate one's metabolism and trigger the fat burning process. She added that she takes supplements that have iron, vitamin D and omega 3.
