Patrick Stewart Acting: Professor Xavier Wishes The World Merry Christmas In Odd Message! [VIDEO]

Along with best friend Ian McKellen, it is known through Patrick Stewart's acting that he's among the greatest British performers in the world right now, besides being a geek icon for his roles in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and the "X-Men" franchise; now, he's also sending out a funny Christmas message!

It's pretty sure that keeping control of laughter at a completely ridiculous time is a feat of performing, and there's no doubt that Patrick Stewart's acting talents are among the most impressive in the world; he's now chosen to show the world just a little Picard Christmas moment for the 2014 holidays!

According to CNN, Patrick Stewart's acting has done it again: audiences all over the world have fallen back in love with the actor's hilarious off-screen persona. In a newly-released video, the 74 year-old British actor (who obviously has a great sense of humor) can be seen wearing a completely ridiculous and entirely annoying singing and dancing Santa hat ... and keeping a straight face!

The video, entitled "Sweet Hat Bro," shows off the best of Patrick Stewart's acting, as the stern-looking thespian known for his voice and his shiny bald head keeps it together without bursting into laughter as his wife Sunny Ozell giggles in the background filming the whole thing, according to the United Kingdom news outlet The Mirror.

It's clear that the older icons of geek culture definitely have a great sense of humor and a strong love for the holidays - earlier this month, "The Lord of the Rings" villain and 92 year-old actor Christopher Lee released a heavy metal Christmas song, his third annual release for the holidays.

It's also not the first time that Patrick Stewart's acting talents are used for humorous YouTube videos: back in the summer, when every celebrity in the world was doing the ALS bucket challenge, the actor released a video drinking a glass of whiskey and writing a check, making it clear he had no intention of pouring a bucket of ice cold water on himself.
