In the oddest bit of news in Nicole Kidman's 2015 is the fact that a neighbor in her Manhattan apartment has just sued the Oscar-winning actress, according to The Daily Mail. The lawsuit comes after an incident last Monday January 5, when the copper pipes Kidman had installed in the terrace of her Chelsea penthouse (an apartment which is worth about $13 million) exploded due to expanded frozen water that had not been drained, causing damage in the home of neighbor Leonard Steinberg.
The New York Post's Page Six obtained the filed papers from the Manhattan Supreme Court, and it was reported that Steinberg, who works as a real-estate broker, is suing the actress and country singer husband Keith Urban for causing over $46,000 in damage to his home.
However, that's not the only thing going on with the beginning of Nicole Kidman's 2015: according to The New York Daily News, the actress was recently in "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" to promote her new film "Paddington" - and she revealed that she'd had a crush on the host after her divorce with Tom Cruise, but when they met in person he ignored her to play video games!
In the incredibly sweet and awkward interview, Kidman and Fallon talked about the time they first met, when she went to his apartment with a mutual friend and Fallon ignored her - who knows what could have happened otherwise?
In any case, it seems Nicole Kidman's 2015 will be a year with a lot going on!
