‘Mad Men’ Season 7 Part 2: Don Draper’s Last Season Date Confirmed!

After almost a year of waiting, the "Mad Men" season 7 part 2 finally has an airing date, which will see the last episodes of the AMC show about Madison Avenue advertising in the 60s starring Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss and Christina Hendricks.

One of the most highly acclaimed series of the past few years is now officially about to end, as AMC announces the start date for the "Mad Men" season 7 part 2, which will se the farewell of characters like Don Draper, Peggy Olsen and the rest of the guys at the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce advertising agency.

According to Den Of Geek, AMC has finally announced the official dates for the "Mad Men" season 7 part 2, as fans of the show mourn in advance for the demise of the period series that made names like Elisabeth Moss and January Jones famous, as well as putting others like John Slattery back on the map.

The AMC announcement regarding the "Mad Men" season 7 part 2 airdates came over the past weekend, according to Headlines & Global News, as the cable network announced that the season premiere would be on Easter Day, Sunday April 5.

"What an incredible journey this has been," said series creator Matt Weiner, according to Bustle, commenting on the soon to be finished series that has gotten wide acclaim since its first season. "I take great pride in what the entire Mad Men team was able to create episode after episode, season after season. We sincerely thank the fans for joining us on this ride and hope it has meant as much to them as it has to us."

Due to this airdate, the "Mad Men" season 7 part 2 will be eligible for the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards, following a huge snub on the part of the Golden Globes, with no award nominations for the show.

The cast of "Mad Men" also includes Jessica Paré as Megan Draper, Vincent Kartheiser as Peter Campbell and Christina Hendricks as bombshell Joan Holloway.
