EMINEM FAN VISIT: Rapper Eminem Fulfilled Fan Wish, Boy Dies After Visit

Eminem fan visit became so meaningful and unforgettable for his teenager fan, who was terminally ill. After Eminem fan visit on Sunday evening, the 17-year-old boy from Rochester Hills has died on Monday.

The information that the 17-year-old boy from Rochester Hills died was disclosed by his parents to Rainbow Connection Executive Director Mary Grace McCarter. Rainbow Connection is a charity that grants terminally ill children their wishes.

Eminem fan visit happened on Sunday evening when the popular rapper also living in Detroit sat with the boy and entertained him with hiphop and football stories, according to Yahoo News.

The 17-year-old boy from Rochester Hills, Gage Garmo was suffering from a bone type of cancer known as Osteosarcoma. Eminem fan visit was a wish fulfilled before the boy finally dies.

Eminem fan visit made the boy extremely happy. Ingrid Todt of Rainbow Connection stated that Eminem raised Gage's spirits when he came. "Gage sat up with a grin on his face. His family hadn't seen their son do that in such a long time."

Osteosarcoma is the most common sixth type of bone cancer in children. This cancer usually starts in bones and spread in other parts of the body like the lungs. It usually affects boys than girls that develop from osteoblasts and usually found at the end of long bones or around the knee.

Osteosarcoma is linked to genetic changes and diseases. Others have traced its cause to exposure to radiation, according to Sarcoma Help.org.

Eminem fan visit was arranged by Gage's friends and classmates who spread his wish to meet Eminem through the social media with hashtag #GetGageGarmoToMeetEminem. It was only few days before Gage's death when Eminem find out about the news.
