No Bake Banana Cream Pie

Ingredients
1 cup whole milk
1 cup granulated sugar
4 egg yolks
3 tbsp butter
5 tbsp flour
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cups heavy cream
3 bananas, thinly sliced
1/4 tsp salt
1 9-inch pastry shell

Directions
1. In a saucepan, bring milk to the boiling point.
2. Whisk egg yolks in a mixing bowl beat on medium speed with electric mixer.
3. Add sugar gradually and beat until mixture is thick.
4. Beat in flour. Decrease mixer speed to low. Add hot milk gradually.
5. Transfer the mixture to heavy saucepan. Boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
6. Remove from heat. Beat in butter one spoon at a time.
7. Stir in vanilla extract and cinnamon.
8. Beat the heavy cream until firm.
9. Mix 1/2 cup whipped cream into the mixture. Fold in remaining whipped cream and sliced banana.
10. Transfer filling to the pastry shell. Spoon or pipe the whipped cream onto the pie. Refrigerate before serving.
