Though a lot of people have forgotten all about it as the reality star has turned into one of the most recognized faces in the world after a sex tape and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," the truth is that Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian have known each other for the longest time - but they weren't always equals.
Last summer, BuzzFeed released an article about Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian's early relationship, recounting how Kim could be seen in early episodes of "The Simple Life" (the show that made Paris and Lionel Richie's daughter, Nicole, famous on their own right) and she was something like Hilton's personal assistant - or half slave.
Now, according to Pop Dust, the blonde hotel heiress has recently spoken about the Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian relationship, saying that they have known each other since they were little girls, growing up together.
As Fashion One reports, though, the hotel heiress didn't stop at saying that Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian had always been close: she basically also took credit for Kim's entire career, saying she was "proud" to have become an inspiration for the star.
Of course, these days Kim's one of the most famous people in the world as well as one of the richest reality stars and she's turned into so much of an icon, that recently legendary actress and singer Bette Midler sang some of her more ridiculous tweets during a Jimmy Kimmel appearance - but is it all thanks to the relationship between Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian?
Paris certainly seems to think so!
"It's nice to inspire people, so yeah, I'm really proud of her and what she's done though," said Hilton, according to Gawker.
Whatever the case may be, if there's currently a battle about who is more famous between Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian, there's no doubt that Kanye's wife takes the cake right now - even though Hilton used to be really big a few years back.
