Avengers Age Of Ultron Spoilers: What Does New Avengers Mid-Credits Scene Mean?

As fans of superhero movies know very well by know, if Marvel Cinematic Universe films have a particular thing to them it's their mid or post-credits scenes that always lead up to the following film in the franchise or at least one of the plot devices they'll be using, and these "Avengers: Age of Ultron" spoilers show that the newest film is no different!

Food World News has widely reported the days leading up to the US theater release of the film, including controversial and fun interviews with stars like Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson; but as the film hits theaters, it's time for some "Avengers: Age of Ultron" spoilers!

According to Cleveland.com, the reason the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" spoilers are important is simple: this film marks the plot to where the Marvel Cinematic Universe is headed in the next four years, from next year's "Captain America: Civil War" until the widely expected "Infinity Wars" storyline, which will be split into two different movies.

As Inquisitr reports, some of the most "Avengers: Age of Ultron" spoilers are these: Thor (Chris Hemsworth) goes back to his home in Asgard; Tony Stark/Iron Man (Downey) drives off into the sunset, apparently leaving the Avengers; Hawkeye (Renner), who has been revealed as having a wife and children earlier in the movie, ends up going home, also retreating from the Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Though the film's trailers revealed some of this, another one of the major "Avengers: Age of Ultron" spoilers sees Bruce Banner/Hulk (Ruffalo) and Black Widow (Johansson) getting together throughout the film - though Hulk ultimately decides to get away from the superspy, and it's made clear that he does so because, due to his unstable condition (to say the least), he can't give Natasha a future.

As for Black Widow and Captain America (Chris Evans), they're the only ones left as a new team of Avengers forms in what looks like a reformed fraction of S.H.I.E.L.D., though Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) hasn't yet been revealed as being alive: other new members include Ultron-Avengers creation The Vision (Paul Bettany), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie), after one of the newer Avengers, Wanda's twin Pietro/Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) was killed in the battle against Ultron.

The largest "Avengers: Age of Ultron" spoiler has more to do with The Vision than with any other Avenger, after it was revealed that the creation (the only being worthy of lifting Thor's hammer other than the King of Asgard) holds the Mind Infinity Stone.

As Yahoo! News reports, the mid-credits scene of the "Ultron" (there's no point in staying in the theater for a post-credits scene, as there isn't one) brings back who's been revealed as the major villain in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe at this point: Thanos (Josh Brolin).

In the scene, Thanos, who's already appeared in the "Avengers" mid-credits scene and "Guardians of the Galaxy," is revealed as currently holding the Infinity Gauntlet, a golden glove that has the ability to hold all six Infinity Gems or Stones.

Four of the six Infinity Gems (which give the "Infinity War" saga its name) have already been revealed in the MCU: the Space Stone (the Tesseract, seen on "Captain America" and "Avengers"), the Mind Stone (which was inside Loki's scepter in the first film, and is now being kept by The Vision), the Aether from the second "Thor" film and the Power Stone (the Orb from "Guardians of the Galaxy")

The revelation of Thanos holding the Gauntlet is a one of the most interesting "Avengers: Age of Ultron" spoilers in itself, as previously it had been shown that the Gauntlet was located in Asgard, being kept by Odin (Anthony Hopkins); so, in one way or another, Thanos managed to recover it from there.

It has been leaked that the film's Blu Ray will contain more "Avengers: Age of Ultron" spoilers and even an alternate ending and extra footage!
