Malin Akerman: Watchmen, Rock of Ages Actress is Pregnant with First Baby

Malin Akerman, who was born in Stockholm, Sweden, but moved to Canada with her parents at age two, is expecting her first child, her rep exclusively told US Weekly.

The Swedish-Canadian actress, 34, is married to Italian musician Roberto Zincone, her husband of five years. Apparently, the two found each other while playing in the band The Petal Stones, and subsequently got married in Italy in 2007.

According to the Internet Movie Database, IMDB, Akerman is currently involved in no less than nine movie and TV productions over the next year.

The actress has yet to comment on whether her pregnancy will affect her productions in any way, and at least in the early stages of the pregnancy it does not seem that way.

She has recently been filming the new movie "CBGB," telling the story of the fabled New York punk club where she portrays Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry. Husband Zincone is along for the ride portraying the drummer Clem Burke.

In "The Numbers Station", another movie soon to be released, she stars opposite of John Cusack, in which they tell the story of a former black ops agent and a young woman who fights for survival after a surprise attack.

Akerman has appeared in a number of movies, such as "Couples Retreat," "Watchmen," "The Heartbreak Kid" and most recently "Rock of Ages."
