Did 'Game of Thrones' Producer D.B. Weiss Confirm A 'Jon Snow Lives' Fan Theory? [SPOILERS]

The internet is still abuzz with several fan theories that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is still very much alive. The beloved 'Game of Thrones' character may have been stabbed numerous times and left for dead in the season finale, but fans still refuse to believe that Jon Snow will not survive the encounter.

Most recently, Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the show, said that there is "a 50/50 chance" that Jon Snow will return. Harington has also been seen attending Wimbledon still sporting his long Jon Snow curls and beard.

However, there is the possibility that 'Game of Thrones' executive producer D.B. Weiss has already confirmed Jon Snow's fate and a popular fan theory in a previous interview.

[WARNING, SPOILERS AHEAD]

The showrunner had attended the roundtable at Oxford Union with Harington, John Bradley (who plays Samwell Tarly) and fellow producer David Benioff. When the actors were asked what they would like to play in the show, Harington had a strange answer.

"I'd like to be a warg," Harington said. "I'd like to put myself into a wolf."

There is a fan theory that revolves around Jon Snow's last words in the book 'A Dance with Dragons.' The fallen Lord Commander had uttered, "Ghost," calling on his direwolf. Fans believe that Jon Snow had warged into Ghost before he could die.

Weiss had an interesting follow-up to Harington's statement: "Two words for you: Season 6."

Although it appears that Weiss had confirmed that Jon Snow could warg into Ghost in the next season, there are speculations that he is referring to the return of Bran Stark, who was the show's resident warg. Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) would reportedly make a comeback in the sixth season.

However, fans have also pointed out that it could be possible for Jon Snow to be a warg. After all, he is a Stark, whether as Ned Stark's bastard or the popular fan theory called "R+L=J."

'Game of Thrones' will return to HBO in 2016.
