Two years after his split from Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth is finally moving on. The Australian hottie hasn’t seriously dated anyone since he broke up with the 22-year-old popstar, but things are definitely looking hot and heavy between him and his new co-star.
Us Weekly reports the 25-year-old Independence Day: Resurgence star is “hooking up” with new, rumored lady Maika Monroe.

“His hand was on her butt as she was grinding into him and they were making out at the bar,” says an eyewitness at a July 4 bash thrown by director Roland Emmerich. “Liam was draped all over her. It was so PDA and in-your-face!”
Monroe is a 22-year-old professional kite surfer turned actress who had minor roles in movies such as 'The Bling Ring', 'Labor Day' and 'The Guest' among others.
Maika and Liam are both starring in the upcoming film Independence Day, and apparently haven’t been able to hide their attraction for one another.
“Everyone’s noticed their mutual affection,” OK! Magazine reports. “Maika is smart and down-to-earth and has a zero-drama personality, something Liam was attracted to immediately.”
The pair play love interests in the film but besides just hanging out on set, Liam and Maika were photographed grabbing cold drinks in Malibu on July 7.

They were seen out and about together in Malibu looking relaxed as they walked barefoot from a cafe to their car while sipping on some cold drinks.
Things are definitely new between these two, but they already seem to be spending more time together than any other girl Liam’s been linked to since he called off his engagement with the former Disney star.
Liam met Miley on the set of their movie 'The Last Song' in 2009, he then popped the question in 2012. However, they ended things after just over a year following months of speculation.
Miley has already moved on with Victoria's Secret Angel Stella Maxwell and the two were even spotted passionately kissing each other in public.

Liam's love life has been very quiet until he recently being romantically linked to Maika.
Maika also had a her fair share of A-list hotties already. In May 2013, it was rumored that she was hooking up with her 'At Any Price' co-star Zac Efron, and just weeks later, she was photographed cozying up to Taylor Lautner at a Los Angeles Dodgers game.
