Katy Perry & John Mayer Break Up For The Second Time This Year

They're hot and now, well, they're cold again. In a not-so-surprising turn of events, Katy Perry, 30-years-old, and John Mayer, 37-years-old, pulled the plug on their relationship and called it quits. These two have gotten back together and broken up so often, this new report isn't surprising. Trust issues. Distance.

Those are just two of the many reasons why Katy and John have broken up in the past. Why did the two superstars decide to break off their relationship this time? Well, according to E! Online, the reason why these two broke up again is unknown, but their insider confirmed the inevitable breakup. This is the second break up of the pair this year.

Katy and John both decided to break off their relationship in March 2015, HollywoodLife.com reported. Unlike this time, the duo went their separate ways because of insecurities and distance. Katy was reportedly having trust issues while John couldn't handle the lack of attention she was giving him. "Katy and John reconnected once she had a break in her Prismatic World Tour.

Katy and John have been dating on and off for several years now and it was confirmed back in May that they were together again. The couple was seen enjoying a Grateful Dead concert just a few weeks ago in Chicago over the Fourth of July weekend. Unfortunately for John, Katy is one woman that can't be tied down. The "Roar" singer performed a magic show in Los Angeles, Calif. on July 22 to promote her latest perfume, Mad Potion. She proceeded to reveal her latest scent to fans on Twitter and Instagram the very next day."Had a ✨magical time✨ launching MAD POTION at the Magic Castle yesterday!

Thank you KC's for all your rad support for our Twitter store @katyperrypopup You can still purchase it from the pop up and follow it for updates on where you can find it in stores! S/O to one of my favorite lines @officiallibertine for my dress! ?," Katy wrote on Instagram. It's safe to say her jet setting ways may have caused Katy's relationship with John to fail yet again.
