Superman Planet Found: Krypton Pinpointed in Space by New York Astrophysicist

Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has found where Superman's planet of Krypton should be if it really existed in space.

Based on information from DC Comics, he was able to determine that Krypton would exist in the Corvus constellation, 27.1 light years from Earth, orbiting a red dwarf star named LHS 2520.

Tyson, the Hayden Planetarium director at the Museum of Natural History in New York City, said "As a native of Metropolis, I was delighted to help Superman, who has done so much for my city over all these years."

According to the NY Post, the star, which is smaller and cooler than our sun, can be seen at right ascension 12 hours, 10 minutes, 05.60 seconds, and declination 15 degrees, 04' 15.66.

Tyson will be appearing in "Action Comics" No. 14, which will go on sale on Wednesday.
