Mariah Carey Accuses Nick Cannon of Dragging His Feet on their Divorce; She Wants to Marry Billionaire Boyfriend

Last week, Mariah Carey got her Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Perhaps she was celebrating, but she did have her lawyers for dinner - Melanie Mandles and Laura Wasser, the lady behind Kim Kardashian's in her divorce from Kris Humphries. Just a note, the Kardashian won on her terms on that one.

The singing diva apparently wants to apply pressure on her husband of 6 years, Nick Cannon, who she accuses of dragging his feet. TMZ reports the meat is on the financial matters.  Nobody is talking details, because of a confidentiality agreement served on Cannon where he will suffer financial repercussions if he shares information about their divorce.

Apparently, Carey wants to get married to her Australian billionaire boyfriend, James PackerThe two went public with their relationship last month.  If you think talks of marriage are too soon, Carey married Cannon after only 2 months of dating.  And now, they have twins, Monroe and Moroccan.

Carey and Cannon got married in 2008, stayed together for 6 years until 2014. They split in August, and Cannon filed for divorce in December.

There are no numbers being leaked about settlements, but for certain, Carey wants custody of their children.

The delay is said to be caused by Nick wanting more in settlement. Carey is worth $ 510 million, and she is said to have gotten even richer since their split.  It all comes from record sales, merchandising and her recent Las Vegas residency. Meanwhile, Nick, who is a businessman and host of 'America's Got Talent' is said to be worth a mere $ 500,000 before they married. But now, Fortune pegs him at $ 20 million, earning $ 70,000 per episode of 'America's Got Talent'.
