American Pie actor Chris Klein, and girlfriend of Laina Rose Thyfault tied the knot on Aug. 9, at an outdoor church on the Rainbow Ranch in Montana. The 36-year-old actor and his 30-year-old travel agent bride, said their vows at the stunning ranch on the banks of the Gallatin River. "Laina and Chris wanted to stay true to the nature of Montana and chose native grasses, sage and flowers in a soft color palette to reflect the beauty of Montana," their wedding planner Jennifer Horsley of Habitat Events tells PEOPLE.

Chris stepped up to the fashion plate on his big day as well wearing a custom Shoreditch London 3-piece suit. We are sure he looked incredibly dashing. Chris and Laina, who met at a mutual friend's wedding, got engaged in Venice Beach in Dec. after four years of dating. "Chris and Laina are very happy and look forward to celebrating their engagement over the holidays," his rep, Jaime Primak Sullivan, said at the time.

The Election actor who was previously engaged to Katie Holmes before dating Ginnifer Goodwin for two years, went through some difficult years in the past battling an addiction to alcohol. Fortunately, after a second DUI in 2010, Chris sought help by going to rehab and ended up turning his life around.Klein's publicist explained that "after recent events, Chris was forced to take a clear look at a problem he has been trying to deal with himself for years. He understands now that he cannot beat this disease alone."

In 2014, Klein was cast as an American pilot in the Damien Lay film The Uberkanone. He co-starred in the 2014 comedy indie film Authors Anonymous with Kaley Cuoco. In January 2000, Klein and actress Katie Holmes began dating. The couple became engaged around Christmas of 2003. The couple called off the engagement and ended their relationship in March 2005.
