Images from China where a robot restaurant, run almost entirely by a staff of robots, has gained worldwide fame. Opened last year, 20 robots have been kindly welcoming guests, cooking meals, waiting tables, and even entertaining the patrons.
The robots have over 10 facial expressions and can work for five hours after two-hour charge. When patrons enter the restaurant, a robot welcomes with open arms, saying, "Hello, earth person. Welcome to the Robot Restaurant."
The owner invested around $800,000 for the restaurant in total and $40,000 for each robot.
