Taylor Swift Squad: ‘Bad Blood’ Singer Had Ian McKellen Evicted From New York Home – Magneto And Patrick Stewart Out Of Squad?

Taylor Swift's squad includes some of the biggest names in show business right now, from supermodels like Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner to fellow pop stars Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez as well as even "Girls" star Lena Dunham - and two icons of geek culture had tried to join in.

Sir Ian McKellen, alongside longtime best friend and "X-Men" co-star Patrick Stewart, is one of the men who has given the most to popular culture in the past 15 years, playing two of the most iconic roles in films, ever, namely mutant villain Magneto and wizard Gandalf - and there had been attempts from both of them to join Taylor Swift's squad.

In the past few months, the two British actors have made a few fun attempts to join Taylor Swift's squad, even reciting some of her lyrics together - but recent news may have broken hopes of Magneto and Professor Xavier joining in forever.

According to Time Magazine, McKellen has recently shared in an interview that, in spite of trying to join Taylor Swift's squad, the "1989" star made a very unpleasant move towards the Oscar nominee, actually kicking him out the apartment where he was living in New York City.

"I'm not," the actor told Gay Star News when asked what it felt like to be on Taylor Swift's squad. "When I was living in Peter Jackson's apartment in New York, Taylor Swift bought it while I was there and I was thrown out before I wanted to leave! That hardly puts me in Taylor Swift's team, does it?"

Ouch!

However, The Guardian reports that there were no hard feelings between the two, and in fact Swift later invited McKellen and Stewart to appear in one of her "1989" Los Angeles concerts, but he was busy elsewhere.

Let's hope McKellen and Stewart do eventually become an official part of Taylor Swift's squad!
