Long are the days when Demi Lovato was a growing Disney Channel star on "Camp Rock," mingling with her peers from the channel such as former BFF Selena Gomez - these days, Demi Lovato's topless cover shows, once again, a beautiful and confident young woman who's not afraid to speak her mind!
While this isn't the first time the world sees Demi Lovato topless (now on the cover of Complex Magazine), the singer and actress also gave an oddly candid interview about her lost friendship with Gomez as well as the reasons behind their supposed feud, after being followed by years of speculation saying that the reason for their issues was Gomez's on-again off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber.
According to Hollywood Life, in the interview joining the very hot Demi Lovato topless cover, the 23 year-old star was asked whether she and Gomez kept in touch, and she quickly replied with a "nope."
Was this because of Bieber? "Not really, not anymore," said the "Cool for the Summer" singer on the interview accompanying Demi Lovato's topless cover, adding that she thought Bieber was a "nice guy" who "seems to have grown up," but it seems like the end of her friendship with Gomez has a little more to it at this point - they just don't have anything in common anymore.
However, Just Jared reports that the interview accompanying Demi Lovato's topless cover was in fact conducted before she and Gomez met up last month it what seemed to be a major reconciliation - so hopefully they do keep in touch now!
Speaking of her new BFF, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, Lovato said that the "Fancy" singer is "very, very, very real," which can be unpleasant to people but she still admires about her.
According to Sugarscape, though, she did get in trouble for comment she made about another Disney Channel alum, "Shake It Up" star Zendaya, who recently got a Barbie doll modeled after herself - and all Demi had to say was demanding Mattel to make a "true to size measurements" Barbie, without even congratulating the young star on her own accomplishment.
Of course, Zendaya fans went wild calling Lovato self-absorbed on social media.
