Maria Menounos is returning to the WWE stage.
The actress and TV journalist is making her WWE return for a special Diva match Sunday at the sold-out 2013 SummerSlam event, according to E! News.
Menounos reps confirmed she will be teaming up with Total Divas star Nattie, better known by her wrestling name Natalya, and will be facing Brie Bella from The Bella Twins in the ring.
WWE announced Menounos will be joining Nattie to fight Brie Bella and a TBD Diva for an all-out Diva tag team match. Nikki Bella is currently injured and might not be cleared for the match.The time the match takes place Sunday has not been announced.
According to E! News, the fight is because the Bella Twin felt disrespected after Menounos sent a supportive tweet to Nattie.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Menounos has been WWE fans for years. She's appeared in a couple of segments of the show and has been in several Diva tag team matches. She made her in-ring debut in 2009 when she teamed with Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim to defeat Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox.
Her most recent event was teaming with Kelly Kelly to defeat Phoenix and EveTorres at Wrestlemania XXVIII in 2012.
Fans best know Menounos as the composed host for EXTRA, alongside former "Saved by the Star," Mario Lopez and for being a contestant on ABC'S hit dancing show "Dancing With the Stars."
