Jamie-Lynn Sigler Welcomes Baby Boy, A New Trend in Hollywood These Days

Actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler and her fiancé, baseball player Cutter Dykstra, welcomed their first child on Wednesday.

The "Guys with Kids" actress gave birth to a baby boy, her rep confirmed to Us Weekly, though details have not been made public.

"Both mommy and baby are great!" the rep said.

The couple have been dating since March 2012, Sigler and Dykstra, 24, got engaged in January, and announced they were expecting a month later. The 32-year-old actress shared a snapshot of her diamond ring.

"Jamie couldn't be happier," a source told Us Weekly at the time. "Cutter is the perfect guy for her. Although they have only been together for a year, they both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine, as are their families and friends."

Sigler rose to fame as a star on HBO series "The Sopranos." The actress married her manager in 2003 but divorced in 2005, according to E! News.

"The first few months were not fun," she said of her pregnancy in April. "I got hit pretty hard, but I feel fantastic now... It's the most natural thing your body can do. I have no part in anything that's happening with the baby. I'm just kind of a vessel, so it really is a miracle and it really is an exciting time."

Singer Michael Bublé and his wife, actress Luisana Lopilato, welcomed a baby boy too. The couple welcomed their first child, Noah Buble, on Tuesday.

"Overjoyed and filled with gratitude at the arrival of our son Noah Bublè," Bublé posted on Instagram Tuesday. "Born this morning, August 27th at 2:26 am in Vancouver, Canada."

According to the AP, in the days leading up to the baby's birth, the 37-year-old singer stayed close to home.

"I don't know what to expect, because obviously, I've never expected before, so I'm just really enjoying it," he told ET Canada a few days before he became a dad. "Neither one of us are anxious. We're just excited. We can't wait to know what it's like! We can't wait to meet this little guy."

The parents are reported to be extremely joyous.

"She says he's going to be a tennis player, or he will be a football player," he said. But Bublé hopes he'll stay true to his Canadian roots. "He will play for the Vancouver Canucks [hockey team]. He will be the smallest power forward ever."

She may have given birth two-months ago, but the proud mom is now showing off her handsome young man. Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson's 2-month-old baby boy, Ace Knute Johnson, grace the cover of Us Weekly's September issue.

"With two kids, we have our hands full, but every day is a new adventure," the 33-year-old singer and fashion entrepreneur told the mag exclusively. "It's fun! I feel very at peace with being a mom."

Simpson said with two kids, she is quite content with staying a family of four.

"Pregnancy is a lot. It was hard to do two so close together," she said. "I have this huge sense of accomplishment, and I feel in my heart that I'm done. But obviously, accidents do happen!"

Simpson joked about her pregnancy at the beginning of the year. She told Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM show that her pregnancy was a "happy accident." The magazine will be on stands Friday, Aug. 30.

And baby makes three.

CaCee Cobb and actor Donald Faison welcomed their baby boy on Aug. 15. This is the first child for Cobb and the fifth for "Scrubs" actor who has four children from a previous marriage. The couple tied the knot in December 2012.

The couple confirmed the news via Twitter.

It was also a boy for actor Vince Vaughn and his wife Kyla Weber. The couple, who married in January 2010, welcomed Vernon Lindsay on Aug. 7. This is the second child for the actor and his wife who are parents to 2-year-old Locklyn Kyla.

According to E!, little Vernon was born outside of Los Angeles and weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 21-inches long.
