Amillarah Floating Private Islands: Island That You'd Want to be Stranded On

When two big companies collaborate, we are sure to expect something amazing out of it.  In the case of real estate developer OQYANA Real Estate and floating island expert Dutch Docklands, Amillarah Private Islands, a luxurious floating private island, is born.

As reported in ABC News, the two companies have collaborated to create a series of floating islands called the Amillarah Private Islands.  It is reported that the Floating Private Islands will be located within the "OQYANA World First" in "The World Island's" project in Dubai.  Last June, master developer Nakheel has approved the project to be constructed in "The World Island's Project".

The Floating Private Islands are one of a kind according to Paul Van de Camp, the CEO of Dutch Docklands.  Amillarah Private Islands is  "the only company in the world offering Floating Private Islands."

"Our 'Amillarah Private Islands' are completely self-supporting, scarless and all contain the latest state-of-the-art technology," he added. "Each one will be a piece of art that you can live in."

Each island will have its own residence, garden, pool, beach and more.  Privacy has never been luxurious than the Amillarah Floating Private Islands.  The size and shape of each island can also be adjusted according to the owner's preference.

Furthermore, the floating islands are said to use state of the art green technology to minimize environmental impact of the islands.

In explanation Architect and Creative Director of Amillarah Private Islands, Koen Olthius, said "Our Private Islands are part of a new trend in green developments in which luxury and quality will be combined with a scarless approach."

To ensure that the project will be environmentally friendly as possible, Millarah Private Islands teamed up with the Ocean Futures Society.  The Society is known to investigate new and better ways to enhance the reaction of artificial reefs below the islands.

"Our association makes sure that the ocean is being respected and that the environmental impact is near zero," said Jean-Michaael Cousteau, the one who established the Society. To be able to protect the environment which will be under those structures is one of the most exciting times of my life!"

Amillarah Floating Islands is an island that you'd definitely want to be stranded on.
